A DBHS graduate (Buck Pride!), Sabina continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania with a short pit stop at UF along the way. After graduating with a BSN, she moved to Jacksonville and worked at Wolfson Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology nurse. She then returned to the University of Pennsylvania to pursue her MSN in pediatric primary care. Upon graduation, Sabina returned home to be with her high school sweetheart and begin providing care to the pediatric community of South Florida. Working in numerous locations in Broward and Palm beach counties in both pediatric primary care and critical care, Sabina is excited to bring her experience from both to her patients to provide exceptional care.

Hi there! I am a Mental Health Counselor (RMHCI) with over 6 years of experience, dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. With a background as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), I bring a warm, client-centered approach to therapy, using techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, and Person-Centered Therapy. I believe in creating a comfortable space for kids and families, often using humor to help them feel at ease while working through difficult topics. My focus on cultural sensitivity ensures that all families feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healing journey.

Dr. Terisha Lee is a passionate advocate for inclusivity and empowerment, with a remarkable academic background and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals and families. Holding a Master’s degree in Child and Family Studies with an emphasis on parent education, and a Ph.D. in Practical Theology, Dr. Lee has dedicated her career to expanding our knowledge and understanding of disabilities and parent empowerment.
